DOWN 1.4 POUNDS! Word to your mother.
The week has been fab...difficult, but fab nonetheless. I had been doing level 1 of The Shred for about a week, and decided to ramp it up to level 2 to keep from getting bored. Everyone in my family that's doing it said level 2 was"so much easier" than level 1...LIARS! All of them! Level 2 is the hardest. thing. ever. Maybe even harder than childbirth. Seriously - as I sat in my own cesspool of sweat after the most excruciating 20 minutes of my life, I wondered how I was going to lift Alex from his swing when he woke up because I could not feel my arms. True story.
I also bought the Wii Fit and started adding that to the routine a few days ago. It's not like a super hard workout, but it's something fun that Joe and I can do in the evenings together...plus it tracks your progress with BMI and weight, which I really like. So far, so good.
The eating is going well. Every time I want to eat something delicious and fattening and gooey, I reach for a stupid banana or portion-controlled 100 calorie pack and down a big glass of water. Lifesavers, those things.
So, now it's time for you to post your progress. How did YOU do this week?

I'm not even kidding when I say that your post last week inspired me! I can tell that within the last couple years, my metabolism is starting to slow and I can't chow down cheese fries and beer like I used to in college without consequences. (bummer). I've given up 4 things from my diet that are "problem" foods for me (potatoes, plain white rice, red meat, & beer) and I can already see a difference in the way I feel. (Even though ordering a side-salad instead of fries just doesn't cut it for me... "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!"). My hubby and I also joined a boxing class that we've been going to a couple times a week! Bikini body, here I come! :)
Up 6 Lbs this month :)
Totally feeling you on the difficulty of Level 2. The squat thrust (that's what she said) or whatev she calls them are killer and I may or may not substitute jumping jacks for that segment. Which is fiine.
I was up a couple pounds, but lost them now so ... basically, this week I'm even :)
Yay, congrats! I've been hearing the shred is amazing/brutal!
You're doing great! Keep it up - it took me 4 months to lose the 41 pounds I gained - once all the major weight came off (the easy part) the last 10 - 15 pounds came off at about 1 - 2 pounds a week (not as easy) - You're on the right track - You'll be looking sexy for your sis's wedding in no time!
KVW - You are a bad a**. Go girl!
I am proud of you. It's hard to be home and not snack all day. I know first hand, unfortunately :(
Oh my god. I just finished my first level 1 workout and I may die.
